Educator. Advocate. Consultant. Partner in Your Family’s Journey.
Big ideas, real impact.
Hello, I’m Kellie Blackledge an educator, advocate, and consultant with a deep commitment to supporting children and families navigating autism and diverse learning needs.
My work is rooted in compassion, structure, and practical strategy. I believe every child has the capacity to grow, and every family deserves tools, clarity, and confidence along the journey.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I transitioned into special education and began working as a paraeducator. I worked one-on-one with a non-speaking student, focusing on comprehension, AAC communication, emotional regulation, and independent learning skills.
Witnessing his growth solidified my calling.
I later stepped into a special education teaching role, expanding my expertise across developmental stages from early childhood through upper elementary.
In this role,
Collaborated with speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists
Contributed to IEP development
Implemented behavior intervention plans
Supported students with autism, ADHD, OCD, ODD, and social-emotional needs
Specialized in AAC communication and speech delay support
Educational &
Professional Background
I began developing professional skills early in life. While in high school at Thomas Edison High School of Technology, I earned my state license in nail technology. Working with clients from diverse cultures and backgrounds strengthened my communication and relationship-building skills.
I later attended Bowie State University, where I majored in Business Management before completing my degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus in Science and Technology at Montgomery College. I continued my educational journey by earning a degree in Humanities from University of Maryland Global Campus.
During this time, I worked in multiple childcare centers and eventually founded and operated Angelic Kiddies Family Childcare LLC for eight years.

Philosophy & Mission.
Through teaching, I realized many parents either underestimate their child’s potential or simply need guidance to extend school-based skills into the home.
My mission is to bridge that gap.
I help families:
Recognize their child’s strengths
Build independence
Implement practical strategies in everyday life
Advocate effectively within educational systems
Every family is unique. I honor cultural values, parenting styles, and belief systems while creating personalized plans that promote sustainable growth.
I am deeply committed to advocacy, inclusion, and helping families thrive.
I look forward to partnering with you and becoming a valuable asset in your family’s journey.
